💙 Blue Bucket: Trick-or-Treating for Everyone!
If you see a child or adult carrying a blue bucket or container, they may be autistic or have sensory needs. They may need more time, may not say "trick or treat," may be nonverbal, may not want candy, or may use an AAC device or communication chart. Please be patient, kind, and supportive. A smile, wave, or small treat makes a big difference!

Tips for Trick-or-Treating
- Practice at home first. Walk through the steps together before Halloween night.
- Point as you go. Show the picture for each step so your child knows what comes next.
- It's okay to take a break. A few houses is a big win. Celebrate every step!
- Print in color on card stock and laminate so it lasts all night.
