May Awareness

May Awareness

May is all about mental health, rest, and the people who care for us. Here is what we're spreading awareness about this month.

  • Mental Health Awareness Month: This year's theme from Mental Health America is "More Good Days Together." Mental health matters for kids and caregivers alike. If you're struggling, call or text 988.
  • National Nurses Month: Thanking the nurses who care for our children and families with skill and heart.
  • ALS Awareness Month: Supporting people and families living with ALS, a disease that affects the nerves that control movement.
  • Arthritis Awareness Month: Arthritis can affect people of all ages, including children.
  • Better Sleep Month: Good sleep helps kids regulate, learn, and grow. Calm, predictable bedtime routines help.
  • Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month: Celebrating the cultures, history, and contributions of AANHPI communities.

More good days, together.
